The world of managed services is more about partnerships than ever before.
Just a few short years ago, it was common practice for a managed service provider to build a practice from the ground up with brick, mortar, servers, storage and networks. It was also common for a provider of “as a service” services to build his or her own cloud. This was both a massive and prohibitive investment.
Along came the subscription-based partnership model. With increased hardware capability and the ubiquity of virtualization, it was just a matter of time before a subscription-based tier of support evolved.
